No More Ellen "Elmo"

Once a child turns three years old, EDIS no longer works with them and if they need other help for their "special" needs, then they go to the elementary school. That is exactly what we had to do and Wynter starts school TODAY at noon! I am excited, nervous and scared. I am sure she will do fine but...still.

Yesterday was the last day Wynter had speech class with Ellen. Or "Elmo" as she calls her. It was bittersweet. Of course we get to be done with EDIS and Wynter can go to school and be with other kids but we had to say good bye to Ellen. We will really miss Ellen. She was great and Wynter LOVED her! Before we left, I took some pictures of Ellen and Wynter together and Ellen made Wynter a graduation certificate. She said, "When I went to sign my signature, I almost signed Elmo instead of Ellen" haha!

We got Ellen a gift yesterday so now we just have to drop it off at her office: (Obviously Ellen's face is in the picture but the glare just so happen to cover her face!)
