Oh How I Love You- Eggs!
This morning I made her "Egg in a hole" eggs and toast for Barry and the girls. Love It!
I used regular bread but you can use whatever you want to. Take one slice of bread and press a hole in the center of the bread with a cookie cutter, biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass like I did.
Then you heat a skillet over medium heat. Make sure it isn't on hot because the first one I did burnt the bread. Oops.
Next you take some butter and melt it in the skillet. Make sure you use a good amount because the butter has to soak into the bread.
Once the butter is melted completely, then put your bread in the skillet.
Carefully crack an egg into the center of the bread. Let it sit there about 30 seconds. While doing so, you can put salt and pepper on the egg if you want.
After about a minute, flip the egg/toast over with a spatula and sprinkle the other side with salt and pepper as well.
Once the egg yolk is cooked, it is done. Don't let it under cook- white and "jiggly". Don't let it over cook- yolk is hard.
I didn't take any pictures but it was oooohhhhh soooo goood! Try it out and let me know what you think!
