Chicken Cordon Bleu

I found a recipe and had to try it! Mine doesn't look as good as the original poster's pictures but that's okay, it was still good.

You need:

Chicken Breasts
Egg whites
Breadcrumbs
Sliced thin deli ham (I used thin ham lunch meat and it was fine)
Sliced cheese (I used mozzarella)
Spray oil
Toothpicks

What you do:

Preheat oven to 350°.

Slice chicken breast into thin pieces. I didn't cut mine thin enough but you can pound them to make them thinner.

Once you have your chicken sliced thin, lay a slice of ham on top of the chicken and then put a piece of cheese on top of the ham. Wrap the chicken around to cover the cheese completely and then use the toothpicks to hold the chicken together. Since my chicken was kind of thick, my chicken didn't completely wrap around and the cheese leaked out but it was still good!

Dip the chicken into your egg wash and then your breadcrumbs.

Before putting your chicken on your cookie sheet, make sure you spray it with oil. I used the olive oil cooking spray.

I then put it in the oven and let it cook about 35-40 minutes. Just make sure the chicken is done and not pink!
