Summer Is Here....for now.

In case you didn't know, last week I went to take a picture of the birds in their nest and I must have scared them because they flew off and haven't been back. As if that didn't make me feel bad, the mother/father flew to the nest twice and looked in there and flew away. I still have the nest up. Maybe some day they will come back but I doubt it. Poor babies.

On another note, yesterday is was 85 here. Yes, you read that correct! Barry dug out that dead rose bush (thank God, I hated it) and put in the bird bath. He also mowed the front, side and back yard and watered it. He was a busy man yesterday!! The kids had fun playing outside with their water ball that Grandma Julie and Grandpa Barry sent them. You hook it up to the hose and water sprays out of the ball. They loved it and their friends even came over to have fun too. After awhile in the front yard, they went out back and played on the trampoline and in the pool.
