Wynter's Appointments
Wynter had her heart appointment and Endocrinologist (TS) appointment today in Denver, CO. It was a very, very long day but good news all around.
Wynter had to have an EKG and Eco on her heart. All is well with that but that can change over the years but the doctor assured us she isn't a "ticking time bomb". At first when he came in he kept talking about what girls with Turner Syndrome hearts can be with all the "bad" stuff and he was talking as if she had those problems too. Finally I said, "Is her heart fine??". Man, nothing like telling us bad things before telling us she is fine. He said in his opinion, he doesn't need to see her until she is around 12 years old.
Then we had to go to her Endocrinologist appointment, luckily it was on the same floor but just around the corner. She has always been on her own growing curve but always stayed consistent on it and that was great but she actually grew more and went above her curve! These shots are working :) Therefore, they increased her dosage a little. We go back in 6 months (November). And she weighs 29lbs. Maybe before she turns 5 years old she can actually reach 30 lbs (lol) She also has to have a test done when we go back for Celiac Disease. Apparently it can run in Turner Syndrome patients. I don't know anything about it but googled it and here's what I found in case you are interested:

Her Endocrinologist wanted us to go to Radiology and get an xray of her hand bones to see what their age was. We get the results next week sometime..if they decide to actually call us.
Sooo that is the update for Wynter!
