February is Turner Syndrome Awareness Month
Did you know, "Many people, including physicians, are not aware of Turner syndrome and as a result, the diagnosis is often missed. Half the girls are not diagnosed until their pre-teens or later. Early diagnosis and intervention is critical."

February is Turner Syndrome Awareness Month. Trying to get the word out about TS to help other families. As most of you know, Wynter was diagnosed with TS shortly after birth. My midwife tried telling me her puffy hands/feet were normal because she was just born and motherly instinct, I knew something wasn't right so Barry and I kept bugging them about it. Finally a NURSE handed us TS printouts and then they had 3 doctors come in and say it was probably TS and sent blood work off. Educate yourselves! We were pretty lucky with Wynter but some mothers weren't ♥ RIP L.U. ♥
